1. Overview

This document contains description of Smarx(R)OS RAD Studio package for developers.
The distributive includes all Smarx OS based technologies currently supported for 
Delphi and C++ Builder to implement software protection and license management with
the CRYPTO-BOX(R).

With this distributive you can:
   - manually protect your application using Smarx OS based APIs: CBIOS, 
     DO, RFP* and SmarxAPI*. For an overview about the available APIs,
	 see: https://www.marx.com/en/products/smarx-os-api/160
   - use both local and network licensing modes (Smarx(R)OS Network Server)

* Delphi only
  See Delphi.txt in \SmarxOS-SDK\Delphi folder for version and compatibility details.

IMPORTANT:
Please use the sample project for your preferred CRYPTO-BOX API (CBIOS, DO, RFP 
or SmarxAPI) from the \SmarxOS-Sample\... folder and take the corresponding library 
for your RAD Studio version from  \SmarxOS-SDK\... folder:
- For Delphi take CBIOS.dcu from SmarxOS-SDK\Delphi\... folder for your Delphi version.
- For C+ Builder use cbios_bc.a (Win64) or cbios_bc.lib (Win32) from 
  \SmarxOS-SDK\BC++\{x86|x64} folder. If you need support for older C++ Builder versions, have 
  a look at \SmarxOS-SDK\BC++\RAD 12.3 and older resp. \SmarxOS-SDK\BC++\RAD 11.3 and older

Notes: 
- CDO_BINDING does not work properly for Delphi x64 because of
  C++ external UnicodeString linking bugs in RAD XE6-10.3.
