TRX File Overview
Using the CRYPTO-BOX® Hardware Profile (TRX-File)
The hardware profile enables the CRYPTO-BOX to be configured quickly and easily with customer-specific data.
All access information to the CRYPTO-BOX is stored in this hardware profile. There is therefore no need to laboriously enter the access passwords (user password and administrator password) in the tools of the Smarx OS Protection Kit.
In addition, the hardware profile determines which additional options of the Smarx OS Protection Kit can be used, for example Remote Update (RUMS), Document Protection, Media Protection or Pre-Boot Authentication.
