New Project
Creating New Projects or Selecting Existing Projects
On the Wizard main screen you can either create a new project or work with an existing project. We strongly recommend to start with the AutoCrypt demo project: Click on “Open existing project” and choose the “AutoCrypt Demo Project.xml” file.
Now, enter a project name and description (optional).
If desired you may also add a splash screen which is displayed before the protected application starts. For this, select a graphics file (.bmp format). The size of this file must be smaller than the source application you are going to protect.

| If you do not have an image in bitmap (.bmp) format, you can use the Windows application “Paint” to save any image in .bmp format. If required, you can reduce the resolution or the color depth to reduce the file size.. |
Click “Next” to proceed to “Project Settings” screen.
